Nottingham Racecourse
Like its east Midland neighbour Leicester, Nottingham is largely a bread-and-butter track with no great pretensions. It is busy, though, throughout the summer months and has a handful of evening meetings to boost its attendance.
However, unlike Leicester it is no longer a dual-purpose course, having disposed of national hunt racing after 1995.
