Vegas Strip Blackjack
These gameplay below is for Vegas Strip Blackjack that can be found at
Microgaming Casinos.
Only four full decks of cards are used in this version of Vegas Strip Blackjack and the software fully shuffled them before each game starts.
In this version you can only play one hand at a time and as usual you simply have to botain a better hand than the dealer without
going over twenty one - Also should your hand be less than twenty one and the dealer busts - youre a winner.
A Blackjack for any player or dealer will beat every other hand that has a value of twenty one.
The picture/face cards have the usual ten value,
and it comes as no surprise that aces count as one or eleven
It is possible but extremely rare to be able to draw an additional 9 cards to make a mind boggling hand
of eleven cards as long as you dont go over 21
The dealer will always hit on a soft 17
Vegas Strip Blackjack is an american hole card game and this means the dealer will check to see if he has a blackjack
everytime he is dealt and ace or a ten, if he does the game ends
The "ins and outs" of taking insurance
You will be offered insurance if the dealer has an ace.
You can bet only half of your current blackjack bet.
The insurance bet is a stand alone wager.
Once you have started to play your hand you cannot then take insurance
Should the dealer not have blackjack and you have taken the insurance option this wager will lose and the game will continue.
If however the dealer is showing blackjack and you had taken the insurance bet you will be paid out an 2 to 1.
Doubling Down
Y0u are free to double down once your first two cards had been dealt to you
The cost of doubling down is the same as your original bet
You may also double down if you have split a hand
If you have a blackjack you cannot double down
Splitting Rules
You can Split two cards that have the same Denomination or Value, such as a Queen and a Ten, or two Fours. Your hand is divided into two separate hands and a bet equal to your original bet is placed on the second hand.
You cannot get a Blackjack after a Split. The hand has a value of 21.
You can Split a maximum number of three times per game. This equals four hands.
Note:
This rule excludes Aces. Aces are only Split once.
If you Split a pair of Aces, each Ace is dealt one card, and the hand automatically Stands.
Betting and Payout Rules
If the Dealer's hand exceeds 21, it is Bust, and you automatically win.
If you are dealt an Ace and a card with a value of 10, you have Blackjack. Your hand automatically Stands. Your hand cannot be beaten, only matched. If you beat the Dealer with Blackjack you are paid out at odds of 3:2.
When your hand and the Dealer's hand tie, it is called a Push. You are paid your original bet amount.
If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is considered a Push. You are paid your original bet amount.
