European Blackjack
European Blackjack can best be described as a game of skill (or possibly chance!) between you and the blackjack dealer.
Different casinos use differing amounts of playing card decks usually between one and six.
European Blackjack is played with just two decks of cards each one consisting of all of 52 playing cards. Before the game starts the cards are shuffled.
To win you simply need to get a better hand than the dealers without going over a total of twenty one, or hope the dealer "Busts" ( going over twenty one in total )
You can only bet on one hand at a time
If you didnt know what a "Blackjack" is its quite simply when you have a hand with a ten ( either a ten or a picture/face card) and an ace.
This is the best hand a player can get when playing blackjack and instantly the hand will stand, a blackjack hand cannot be beaten it can only be matched.
Rules for European Blackjack:
These rules are for Microgaming Casinos. Their game is played with two standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled before the hands are dealt
Should you get a blackjack it will beat every other twenty one ( in total ) card hand. It can however be matched by a dealers blackjack.
Picture cards/face cards all have a value of ten.
An ace as usual counts as a one or eleven
It is possible to get nine additional cards to make a hand of eleven cards, as long as such a hand does not go over twenty one in total. Should you get dealt eleven cards your hand will stand, and the Dealer then plays his hand.
The Dealer will always stand on a soft 17.
Winning Payouts
The following rules apply:
If the dealer gets over twenty one its a "bust" and your hand will win.
Should you get a blackjack ( as described above) it will instantly stand, If the dealer gets a blackjack also its a push, if not you will be paid at the following odds: 3-2
If you and the dealer get the same value hand ( or both get blackjack ) its a push and you win and lose nothing and your stake is returned.
