Our Odds Verification Unit is launching September 1st 2003
We are pleased to announce that as of the 1st of September 2003 Ron Elcock will be joining the team here at The Online Players Association, with over 25 years of bookmaking experience, Ron is well versed in all matter relating to odds and bookmaking procedures.
He will be tracking the early prices on major sporting events offered by several online bookmakers and supplying us with a detailed report each Month on which bookmaker is really offering value for money, he will be verifying the over-round and drawing up a Monthly "league table" to show you which bookmaker/sportsbook is top of the table each Month.
Ron will always be overseeing our Approved Sportsbook section and assisting in any disputes that may arise.
Virtual Fairplay
Ron will also be heading our "virtual fairplay" section, with the advent of virtual horse and greyhound racing in the UK we are now spotchecking the odds over-round and returned Straight Forecasts as well as the Tricast dividends to ensure they fall with the expected norms. These spot checks will be performed at random and Ron will issue a Monthly Review of the results, as with our odds verification unit this new service will commence operation on September 1st 2003
Landbased Slots Percentage Payout Verification
Also launching on September 1st 2003 is our landbased slot machine payout percentage verification unit
Our team will regularly visit landbased slot operations around the UK who have opted into this service and will be performing Monthly checks on the current payout percentages of these machine via mechanical and electronic data retrieval systems, along with a Monthly Certificate we will also be issuing "on machine" logos, lookout for them! |
