Player Profile 5th September
Todays Player profile is Chaz, he is 39 and is (in his own words) "a boom or bust merchant".
His gameplay is perfectly simple he utilises a some would say suicidal win or lose strategy. His tells me has has �250
in his kitty and will be playing �25 per spin in a double or nothing manner. He is picking high numbers today and will bet �25 on the first spin should it win his next stake will be �50 and should this spin win he will put the �100 winnings onto a final spin, which as he tells me (and anyone with a basic understanding of maths will understand) means a potential profit of �175 should all three spins win.
His first spin loses as number 2 appears a loss, so far of �25, another spin doubles his loss as number 14 appears. His third spin is a winner as number 26 appears this gets reinvested and alas zero appears.
His fourth spin also goes down the drain as in pops number 3. Not a good start as he is now losing �100.
The fifth spin for Chaz is lucky as in pops number 36, the �50 in credits now get placed on the high numbers and the start button is pressed, BINGO number 23 appears so far so good �100 is now speedily placed on the high numbers and the wheel is set in motion, a smile now appears on his face as number 28 appears, he is now in profit to the tune of �75.
He from what I gather is now getting bored of playing, which is strange as he hasnt been playing very long and he tells me he is now going to "phase 2", this is simply putting �100 a bet on the next few spins, in the hope of a decent run off luck.
His first big bet is �100 on red which is soon gone as in pops black 33, the bet is immediately repeated, but to no success as in pop black number 2, he ponders and decides that odd numbers are a good bet, so another �100 is invested, not the best investment as number 32 appears.
Chaz quickly inspects the damage, checks his pocket and proclaims today wasnt his day as he has lost �225, deciding his luck isnt going to change he leaves the shop.
Is his strategy seriously flawed? Or could he have been unlucky? Im not quite sure as he didnt stay around long enough!
