Player Profile
Todays Player is Gary, he is 23 and has been playing Fixed Odds Betting Terminals for about 3 Months. I spent an afternoon with him to
watch his game play.
The first thing I noticed about Gary is he hates standing up to play the machines, he tells me if he hasnt got a stool to sit on there is no way he is playing,
which I suppose is a fair comment.
Gary has a novel way of playing and his game play is as follows;
He bets on the first 12 numbers and also corner bet 20/21/23/24 and uses the following progression;
(Bet A = 1-12, Bet B = corner 20/21/23/24 )
If the bet loses move on to next stage if bet wins return to stage one
1. 1 on betA 50p on betB
2. 1 on betA 50p on betB
3. 1 on betA 50p on betB
4. 2 on betA 1 on betB
5. 4 on betA 2 on betB
6. 8 on betA 4 on betB
7. 16 on betA 8 on betB
8. 32 on betA 16 on betB
9. 64 on betA 32 on betB
He is prepared to lose 193.50 per losing streak if he gets 10 misses on the trot as indicated above
The main thing about his system is to be a very strict, controlled player as it is easy to get bored with it and try to veer off and play against it.
After a long afternoon session, when he left the bookmakers shop he was winning 219 by strictly following his game play as listed above, but as I mention it does run the easy risk of a losing session wiping out your bankroll and it is a rather boring way to play, but who cares at the end of the day he won and I suppose thats all that matters!
