Portugal to host June, 2009 World Poker Congress

Porto, Portugal has recently been named the location for the fourth annual World Poker Congress (WPC). The event, scheduled to take place June 24th & 25th, will include appearances by leading Poker industry veterans across a broad spectrum of mediums. Those already on the docket include PartyGaming CEO, Jim Ryan, and WPT Enterprises founder and CEO, Steven Lipscomb.

The yearly meeting presents an opportunity for Poker business insiders to discuss hot industry topics, identify trends, establish initiatives and implement measures that will better enable Poker-related businesses to expand despite current economic crises and increasing international anti-gambling sentiment.
