Casino Royale's James Bond Popsicle
To celebrate the United Kingdom's National Ice Cream Week, local ice cream maker Del Monte Superfruit Smoothies recently created a limited edition of popsicles boasting the shape of Daniel Craig's upper body. Craig, the protagonist of 'Casino Royale,' now comes in three popular flavors, blueberry, pomegranate as well as cranberry. Each popsicle reportedly contains less than 100 calories.
The Daniel Craig popsicle is the result of a poll involving over 1,000 women. The majority of the participants stated that they had wanted to immortalize the image of Agent 007, portrayed in Casino Royale by Craig, emerging from the sea.
Casino Royale introduces James Bond before he is appointed '00' agent. This, however, does not mean that Bond is less courageous. Shortly after receiving his 'license to kill,' Bond must face Le Chiffre, the poker-playing banker of the world's most dangerous terrorist organizations. Much like in other 007 films, Bond's mission takes him around the globe accompanied by a gorgeous female accomplice.
