Caesar’s Palace launches online casino
One of the biggest names in gambling, Harrah’s Entertainment, has just launched an online version of its world-famous casino Caesar’s Palace. The land-based operator in Las Vegas has decided that it is a good time to enter into the online marketplace, and it’s hoping for big things from its virtual offering.
Of all the casinos on the Strip, Caesar’s Palace is one of the most famous. Now Harrah’s Entertainment is attempting to cash in on its brand and is hoping that players flock to the online casino to get the same quality experience that it offers in its land-based casino.
Harrah’s Entertainment recently launched Harrah’s Interactive Entertainment, which is run by Mitch Garber, the former head of PartyGaming. This is testament to the growing popularity of online gambling. With online casino players continuing to increase in number, it is surprising that the operator didn’t release an online offering sooner.
The online casino is based on the same ancient Rome theme that has made the land-based casino so recognizable. It is powered by Dragonfish software, and all the major games are available. It is currently offering a number of bonuses to entice new players to the site. These include a $500 sign-up bonus, and the ability to earn reward points.
