32Red nominated for Casino Operator of the Year award

Online casino 32Red has been short-listed for the Casino Operator of the Year 2009 award, run by eGaming Review. If it wins then this will be another title to add to its name, as it has already won the Best Casino award from Casinomeister for six consecutive years.
Ed Ware, the CEO of 32Red, said that after the online casino was launched in 2002, they “immediately set about changing preconceptions of the online gaming industry.” One of the main things that this involved was providing “a fair and honest playing environment,” and the nomination “demonstrates the importance of these qualities to the gaming industry.”
The online casino has a strong focus on support and player experience, which has helped it to get through what has been a tough year for the online gambling industry. It has also launched a TV advertising campaign to increase its profile.
At the same time, 32Red has announced a new feature for its Australian customers that means they can now play using Australian dollars. 80 percent of the company’s customers come from the UK, but it still has a large international player base. Mark Quayle, the company’s head of marketing, said “our Australian players are attracted to our reputation for delivering top casino games and bonuses in a trusted playing environment. I'm sure the addition of their local currency will be welcomed.”
