188Bet becomes betting partner of Chelsea FC

As the new football season kicks off, online gaming company 188Bet has announced that it has become the betting partner of one of the biggest teams in the Premier League, Chelsea FC.

This is the latest in a series of high-profile sponsorship deals for 188Bet. Since the last season came to an end, it has been busy trying to get involved with numerous clubs. This involved becoming the official sponsor of both Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers, marking the first time that two clubs in the Premier League have been sponsored by the same company. Later it announced that it had become the betting partner of Aston Villa.

The deal will initially run for three years, and 188Bet has announced that it will be running various promotional activities throughout the season for Chelsea supporters to take advantage of.

A company statement also read that 188Bet and Chelsea will “undertake a series of co-marketing initiatives” to strengthen their “global appeal”. Peter Kenyon, the chief executive of Chelsea, said that 188Bet “were the right choice” due to their global aspirations.
